As one of the Kingdom’s largest and most influential financial institutions, Saudi National Bank (SNB) is known for its forward-thinking approach and commitment to excellence. Their headquarters at King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) serves as a flagship representation of their brand and vision.
The Ground Floor Main Lobby project involved fitout, furniture, and IT execution of a high-traffic, multifunctional space that includes the main reception, a state-of-the-art experience center, a café zone, and a series of support spaces such as meeting rooms, waiting areas, and client engagement zones. The design was developed by a third-party consultant, and C1 was entrusted with bringing that vision to life through high-quality execution.
This project required meticulous planning and execution due to the occupied status of the building—demanding a zero-downtime approach that maintained full operational continuity throughout construction. Works were carefully phased and scheduled to avoid disruption to daily operations, with constant communication between site teams, SNB stakeholders, and KAFD management.
A key highlight of the project was the extensive use of bespoke, handcrafted joinery elements that brought refinement and distinction to the space. These included custom reception counters, feature walls, integrated storage units, acoustic paneling, and tailored café fixtures—all produced with premium materials and exacting craftsmanship. The joinery was not only functional but designed as a visual extension of the SNB brand, combining modern elegance with timeless appeal.
